After drawing a shape, your new shape will automatically be selected. This allows you to change the selection’s color, move it around on the image area, rotate and flip it, as well as add shadows and smoothing.

To deselect the shape, simply click anywhere outside of it or click the Apply button on the Tool Settings Panel. You can Re-select the shape by hitting the Re-select button on the Tool Settings Panel.

When using the painting tools like the pencil or paintbrush, your last work will not remain selected. To edit it, select it by clicking on the Select Shape button on the Tool Settings Panel.
